THE DATE IS SET

Baby Boy Olsen (We have NO clue what to name him) Will be here Monday May 18th at approximately 8:30ish AM!!!
I have literally been going Back and forth for 8 months trying to decide whether or not to try VBAC or to do a repeat C-Section!! I have changed my mind at least a thousand times, I've done tons of research and of course made a Pro's and Con's list! I have been so stressed out about it and so nervous about both options. I kept trying to talk myself into VBAC and decided a couple of weeks ago that that was what I was going to do. Well I just kept feeling sick to my stomach about it. So about a week ago I decided to go with a C-Section and see how I fealt about it, and ever since I decided that, I have just fealt so much better about things and really feel like this was the right decision for me. So the date is set, and we are so excited. Only 2 1/2 weeks to go!!! AHHH it's coming so fast.....Ready or Not!!!!

My New Little Niece

Hailey Brooke Jacobson is here. She weighs 6lb 1oz, 20 inches Long. She is so tiny and so adorable. She was sucking her little thumb already, it was so cute. We are so glad she's finally here!!!

Gotta Love the Teribble Two's

I put Jace down for a nap today, and about 30 minutes later I heard him crying already. He usually takes at least two hour naps so I just let him cry himself Back to sleep. When he woke up about an hour later, this is what I found when I opened the door............



He was TICKED that I was taking Pictures!

I have, well Had, a tub of Eucerin cream that I put on Jace's Eczema every night before he goes to bed. He calls it his "Medicine" I put it on his legs, arms and FACE!! Well I guess he thought that he needed some "medicine"!!! The worst part is, is when I heard him crying it was probably because he had put it all over his face and it got in his eyes, and I just let him sit there and cry himself back to sleep, I feel so bad!!

It was also, all over the carpet, walls, Pillow and Blankets!! This stuff is NOT FUN to clean up. It's kind of an oily base so it would only come off with Hot water!!! Hopefully it will come out of all his bedding w/o leaving big grease stains!

OUR NEW ADDITION
NO, I did not have the baby, (I Wish) we got a new car. Well, not new, but New to us at least!! We have been looking around for a car for a while now. We went to EVERY car lot in Twin. we found a Honda Pilot at one lot that I LOVED, but it was a BIT pricey for us. So we started searching on the Internet EVERY night for hours trying to see what else was out there. To make a long story short, we ended up finding a Honda Pilot in Utah which was the exact same year, the exact same model, it had only 3,000 more miles on it and it was $9,000 Less!! So needless to say, we made a quick trip to Utah last night to get it. I think amongst all the excitement, I forgot about the fact that I am 8 Months Prego, but trust me, I was reminded about 45 minutes into the drive when, my booty started hurting, my back started aching, my feet started swelling, my legs and arms started tingling, the heart burn setting in, the having to go potty every 30 minutes, and of course, the not being able to breath part. I looked at Ty and was like "what the heck was I thinking???" It was definently a long 7 hours in the car, but I did survive and we made it back at midnight last night!!! Jace was such a little trooper, he did so good traveling, and we actually got to meet up with Ty's brother,(who lives in Utah) his wife and there 3 cute kids and had dinner with them before heading home!! So all in all, it was a good trip!

WHERE IS EVERYTHING DISAPPEARING TO??
So a couple of months ago Ty's cell phone charger came up missing. We tore the house literally upside down looking for it. I looked in every place possible, and we still couldn't find it. Ty finally found a different one that he had gotten when he was sent a new phone. SO we were happy about that, but we still never found the other dumb charger. Then a couple of weeks ago I was looking all over for these two water jugs that I had bought. I thought it was so weird that I couldn't find them because they were fairly good sized and they didn't even fit in my cupboard right. So I looked around for them for a few days, but no luck!! THEN on wednesday (which was Ty's day off) he came and asked me if I had seen his american express credit card. Of course I was like "OH GREAT, No, I've never touched it, when's the last time you had it, and so on......!!! He didn't remember when he used it last but said that his wallet was laying on the bedroom floor and wondered if Jace had gotten into it. So, (sorry I know this is kinda a long story) He brought Jace in the room and said, "did you take daddy's card out of his wallet?" Jace says,"yeah" Ty's asked him where he put it, Jace says "In There" and points to the vent next to our bed. So Ty comes into the salon (where I am doing my hair) with......you guessed it, the cell phone charger, the 2 water bottles and his credit card!!! LITTLE STINKER!! I'm just glad he can talk and now we know his little secret!! So if anything ever mysteriously disappears, you might want to consider checking the vents. I know that I never thought of it!!!! Kids are the BEST!!! :)

MR. SNOWMAN
Ty and Jace built a snowman the other night while I was at my meeting. It only lasted a day since it has been warmer, so now when he looks outside to see it he asks why his snowman is "Broken"!!

EASTER MORNING

He LOVES playing outside in the dirt! I know these are more for sand, but they work and he loves them!

We also got him some bubbles and he LOVES them, in fact that's all he ever wants to do is have me blow bubbles all day!!! (I hid them this morning! :))

DOES ANYONE THINK MY KID ENJOYS COLORING EASTER EGGS???
I couldn't believe how excited Jace got over dying eggs. I thought his little facial expressions were so cute, minus the spaghetti still left on his face from dinner....oops!!

1ST ATTEMPT........FAILED!!!!
Well, after two very long, very miserable days, 15 pairs of underwear, 3 loads of bed sheets, constantly being RIGHT by his side, my house going to CRAP, lots of Tears (on my part), and Jace, never ONCE telling me he had to go potty on his own, I'm a little ashamed to admit.....I QUIT!!!!
So I thought it would be nice to get little Jace potty trained before baby # 2 comes, although it was a good thought, it just wasn't happening! I've talked to a lot of people about potty training and one thing that everybody said is, you have to wait until they're ready. So I pretty much came to the conclusion that HE'S DEFINENTLY NOT!! One of the signs of readiness is that they consistently wake up with a dry diaper. He can't even take a 2 hour Nap and wake up dry. So I don't think he has much bladder control yet. I feel very guilty, and like I wasted 2 whole days doing it, but it just wasn't happening. I could go on and on with all the excuses I have for not going through with it, and trust me I called my mom this morning and gave her all of them, trying to justify myself, and I'm happy to say that it made me feel so much better, and lifted a weight off when she also agreed that, he just wasn't ready!!! My Goal now is, before he is 3, which isn't until December. Hopefully he'll be more ready then, and it will be a better experience for both of us!!! Oh yeah, and the crazy part is, is that after all of that, this morning when I got him dressed and put a diaper on him, NOT ONE WORD about it. I thought for sure he would at least SAY SOMETHING about wanting his car underwear,or going pee pee in the potty, but Nope. He was just happier than happy to be back in his diaper. He's such a stinker, but what can I say, I love the kid to death!!!
WELL.....BETTER LUCK NEXT TIME!!!!

He was so excited to throw away all of his diapers, and hop into big boy underwear. Of course I got them right back out as soon as he wasn't looking, I wasn't about to throw away all those good diapers.

I thought he looked so cute in his undies. He looked like such a big boy!!
