Aiden's first tooth finally popped through on December 17th. I know I posted about a month ago that he got his two bottom teeth, it looked like it at the time, but I guess I was wrong.
The two nights folowing, for the first time ever, he slept clear through the night!!! Yay......let's hope it continues!!

We have been working on sitting up for a couple months now and i think he's finally got it!! He still takes a dive every once in a while, but for the most part he's got it down!

Yesterday I was on the computer and Jace kept bringing bags of chocolate chips in and asking me to open them. I kept saying No and would set them on the desk. A few minutes later I walked into the kitchen just as little chocolate chips were flying through the air. Since I kept saying no, he took it upon himself to rip a bag open on his own. I ripped the bag away from him and said, "Mommy said No" and sent him to timeout. A few minutes later I went to his room to talk to him and let him out and I said, "Jace, mommy told you no and you did it anyways, that is a no no." he looked at me so serious and said, "But mommy, don't SAY no. Say yes." It was so cute. It was like he had it all figured out. Just say yes mommy, how hard is that?!?!?

Today I gave him a sucker as we were pulling out of the bank and he asked me if it was banana. I looked at the wrapper and said, "Yeah, it's banana split." he says, "No mom, bananas AREN'T SPLIT!" I love little kids!!

OH NO. IT'S THE TERRIBLE THREE'S

Right after Jace turned two I started preparing myself for the dreaded "Terrible Two's", Well I waited and waited and nothing out of the ordinary really happened!! I would always tell my clients how lucky I fealt to have such a great little two year old. I could be in my salon for a couple hours at a time and not worry about what I would find when I got done!! WELL, with the THREE'S fast approaching I can tell that I am in for a crazy ride this next year!! Here is just SOME of his recent activity! (I was too mad to grab my camera on several others!)



When I walked into the Living Room Jace was sitting there completely naked. I asked him what happened to his clothes and he excitedly replied, "I washed them, Wanna come see?" Sure enough, he had taken off every article of clothing, soaked them in the sink, rung them out and placed them in nice little waded up balls on a towel on the bathroom floor!!

He dumped the ENTIRE box of Kosher salt in various places all around my living room. Now it may not look so bad but.......


This is one of TWO containers I emptied from my vacuum!! I vacuumed and vacuumed. Little balls of salt were flying everywhere. I'm sure there are still some in my carpet, but I gave up!!

I just think these one's are funny!! He got himself dressed! I obviously have not taught him very well. His underwear are on backwards, he put both legs through the same hole and his shoes are on the wrong feet!!!




Although I've had to clean up SEVERAL messes lately, I wouldn't trade this little Three year old for ANYTHING!!! He has the cutest little personality, he's constantly saying things that make us laugh, and he certainly keeps us on our toes!!! I Love this little Boy to death!!!

Aiden has been so different than Jace when it comes to eating. Jace ate anything and everything that came near his mouth!! Aiden on the other hands GAGS on EVERYTHING that comes near his mouth!! I finally tried a ritz cracker the other night and he seemed to somewhat enjoy that!

UTAH TRIP

A few weeks ago we took a trip to Utah with our friends Nate and Tasha. Friday we drove to Layton and stayed the night in a hotel there. The next morning Tasha and I went to the Fabulous "New Moon", while the guys kept the kidos. After the movie we shopped around a bit then headed to Lehi for a quick visit with Ty's brother and his family. That night Ty and Nate hit a Jazz game while Tasha and I just chilled at the hotel with the kids. Sunday we just got up and headed home.
It was so nice to get away and go on a little trip. Suprisingly I didn't spend ANY money shopping, but we still had a blast.....Who would've thought!!!! :) Thanks for inviting us along Nate and Tash!!!

Jace is about a year and a half older than Jake, but they get a long really well and have lots of fun with eachother!


When we got home that night it had snowed. SO here is the first snowman of the year!!
